I was recently pondering this situation, without this article for inspiration. I was thinking how things made for left-handed individuals could be much more profitable when one was able to reach a vast population. Its a small percentage of the population, but if you increase you population pool it becomes a good business model.
Personally, I think this phenomenon allows me to find what I need. I no longer have to settle for things that are almost what I want. This makes everything more personal and accessible. This makes me very happy as a consumer. This also helps eliminate the problem of shelves clogged with unwanted items. I am really curious about everyone else's opinions.

I love the idea of finding more things that I like rather than having it dictated to me. Now if I just had the time to sort through more of it!
ReplyDeleteI tend to be very picky about a lot of things, and when I was younger I used to wish there was a "Laurie store" where I could get things exactly as I wanted them. With the advent of the internet, I can! It's amazing what a wide variety of products exist out there. Sometimes, I don't even realize that the things I wish for actually exist until they pop up in a side bar on Amazon!
