Final Media Apps Blog

When I began this class, I treated the internet like my Mom treats the ocean. I would walk along the edges, sometimes getting my feet wet, but I was afraid to truly dive in. I browsed news sites, etc. but I was afraid to try all the tools out there. I have a little more confidence now. Willing to go in as far as my knees. Most of the things we tried we surprisingly easy for a novice. Clearly, software designers are aware that not everyone is a techno genius, nor wants to be. I discovered the joy of podcasts and the misery of actually making them. All in all, I really enjoyed exploring.

I hesitate to guess what the future will bring me. I am fairly content at this moment to be uncertian. I start at Smith in the Fall. I am open to letting that experience lead me where I am meant to go, as CCV has done in so many ways. I think I will be using the internet more and more, I discovered a lot I want to use in the future. I probably will never make another podcast, but I will listen to them. More YouTube and Animotos for my son's Grandmas....I am excited about the possibilities.
